Since the beginning of this pandemic the pastors, staff, reopening team and session have struggled to find the right balance of when and how to reopen safely.  We have been creative in finding ways to live out our mission statement, “We are Christ’s disciples, celebrating God’s grace, creating community and making a difference,” and we are so thankful for everyone’s flexibility, care and commitment.  At the session meeting last night we voted to take another step toward reopening.  For some this hasn’t come fast enough and for others it is still too soon.  It remains our hope and prayer that we will continue to show love and grace to one another.

Beginning May 18, 2021

Masks are no longer required for those who have been fully vaccinated.  Individuals that have not been vaccinated are encouraged to wear a mask.

Masks are required for staff and volunteers working with children and youth.

Overall Goal:

To provide a safe worship experience which requires us to practice the following guidelines:

  • Advanced reservations for in-person worship.
  • Face masks recommended for all un-vaccinated people.
  • Maintain proper physical distancing of 6ft.
  • No outside food or beverages may be brought in.
  • Bathrooms will be open with limited occupancy and water fountains will be turned off.
  • High risk individuals are recommended to continue online worship.
  • If you attend in person worship and are diagnosed with COVID-19 within the following 14 days please notify the church office.
These guidelines will be modified as we gain new information.

To make your reservation for worship, please click on the Register for Worship tab on our homepage or call the church office (281-444-8861).

If you, or someone in your home, is in a high risk group or if you have any apprehensions, we encourage you to continue worshipping with us online.

We continue to be concerned for those who are unable to connect with us either virtually or in person.  Please contact the church office if you, or someone you know, has not been able to watch our services and will not be able to attend in person.  We are offering special mailings and want to be sure all who are not connected are included.

We continue to give thanks for you.  Please join us as we pray for God’s leading as we continue to minister in these uncertain times.

Grace and Peace,
